Income

You can keep a register of all your income. Note that you can use manual journal entry to record income.

Income Types

This helps you to categorize your income. To view a list of all your income types, click Income menu then click Manage Income Types.

Add Income Type

To add new income type , click on Income menu then click Manage Income Types then click Add Type. This will open the income type create page offering a series of text inputs. The form contains:

  • Name: The name of the income type
  • Income Account: An income account that is credited when an income is recorded
  • Asset Account: An asset account that is debited when an income is recorded

View Income

Clicking View Income will open income list page. On this page you will see a table with columns below:

  • ID: The system id of the income
  • Income Type: The income type
  • Amount: The cost amount of the income
  • Date: The date the income was recorded
  • Description: Any additional details.
  • Action: Further actions that you can take on the row like edit or details

Add Income

To add new income , click on Income menu then click View Income then click Add Income. This will open the income create page offering a series of text inputs. The form contains:

  • Branch: The branch of the income
  • Income Type: The income type
  • Currency: The income currency
  • Amount: The cost amount of the income
  • Date: The date the income was recorded
  • Income Account: An income account that is credited when an income is recorded
  • Asset Account: An asset account that is debited when an income is recorded
  • Description: Any additional details.
